Choose the attachment method first
HF means Hotfix and NHF means No-Hotfix for gluing. Transparent unfoiled Hotfix is a separate variant. SS describes the diameter, not the number of pieces in a pack.
Sizes and manufacturer packs
SS16: 3.80–4.00 mm; SS20: 4.60–4.80 mm; SS30: 6.30–6.50 mm. Manufacturer packs contain 1,440 pieces for SS16/SS20 and 288 for SS30. These quantities do not define our retail packs.
Hotfix: application with heat
- Check the material's heat resistance and absorbency. Water-repellent or silicone finishes may prevent adhesion.
- Use an even surface, suitable protective support and pressure directly on the crystal. Compensate for seams, zips and different crystal heights.
- Adjust the settings to the fabric, size, equipment and heating direction. The manufacturer's time table illustrated with SS10 is not a ready-made setting for SS16, SS20 or SS30.
- For stretch fabric, test with the material held slightly stretched. Let it cool after application; do not wash or test the bond strength during the following 24 hours.

No-Hotfix: adhesive selection and application
- Select the adhesive for the material and crystal finish. Unsuitable adhesives can damage bottom colour coatings.
- Clean and degrease using a method the material tolerates, then allow the surface to dry.
- Apply a suitable amount of adhesive, position the crystal with tweezers and press gently. The adhesive should reach the edge without spreading onto the visible surface.
- Leave the bond undisturbed for the adhesive's specified curing period. Check the result before decorating the complete item.

Care and colour effects
Follow the limits of the most sensitive part of the finished item: fabric, adhesive and coating. Protect crystals by washing inside out in a laundry bag. Do not iron directly over crystals.
For the Crystal Labrador effect, the manufacturer specifies washing at 30 °C; follow a gentler limit if the fabric or adhesive requires it.
Bottom colour coatings are sensitive to adhesive selection. Test that the adhesive does not change the crystal's colour or appearance.
For Aurum, Labrador, Lagoon and Velvet, the manufacturer particularly recommends testing on footwear and handbags. One effect's durability does not establish the durability of all colours.
